Meet your dog’s favorite trainer
Hi! I’m Shea
The founder of Centered Canine Training.
Hi, I’m Shea, the founder of Centered Canine Dog Training. Like many of you, my journey started with a love for dogs and a desire to help them—and their humans—live better lives. Over the years, I’ve seen how the right training can completely transform not just a dog’s behavior but the bond they share with their family.
I started this business because I wanted to offer more than surface-level solutions. I wanted to help people create lasting change with their dogs by focusing on what really matters—realistic training, tailored support, and a commitment to progress over perfection.
My Philosophy
Training is about more than just commands and corrections—it’s about creating a partnership. We know that every dog and every family is different, which is why we take the time to understand your unique situation and craft a plan that works for you.
We keep our focus small and personal, so you get the individual attention you deserve. Mistakes are part of the process, and we’re here to support you with patience, encouragement, and tools you can rely on for years to come.
What We Believe
Real Life Training: Dogs learn best when they’re immersed in real-world environments. That’s why our in-home training program focuses on everyday challenges and solutions.
Tailored Support: No cookie-cutter approaches here. Every dog is unique, and so is the training plan we create for them.
Sustainable Results: Our goal is to give you the skills and confidence to maintain your dog’s progress long after training ends.
Empathy and Understanding: Mistakes happen—it’s part of the journey. We’re here to guide you through them with compassion and patience.
Why it matters
A well-trained dog doesn’t just make life easier—it makes life better. The time, energy, and care you invest in your dog’s training today will pay off in years of peaceful walks, enjoyable outings, and a stronger bond with your dog.
